Cookie notice
This page explains the cookies used at queuestreambase.digital. It should be read with the privacy notice. Refusing cookies does not hide assessments, rates, field notes, or the contact form.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small note a website stores in your browser. Some notes are needed for the page to remember a choice. Others are used to count visits. This site uses almost none of the latter.
Types we use
Essential. The consent note that remembers whether you accepted or refused cookies, so the banner does not return on every page load.
Analytics. None are set today. If we ever add a simple visit count, it will appear in the table below before it is switched on, and it will run only after Accept.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| queuestreambase_cookie_consent | Stores your Accept or Reject choice so the banner can stay down | 1 year (in local storage) | Queuestreambase Analytics (first party) |
| hugo-session (host default, if any) | May be set by the host to serve the static files | Session | Hosting provider |
The consent choice is kept in local storage under the key queuestreambase_cookie_consent, which behaves like a cookie for this purpose even though some browsers list it separately.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You may also clear site data in your browser settings for queuestreambase.digital. Blocking all cookies in the browser will not stop you reading the ledger; the banner may return on each visit.
Third-party cookies
We load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to see your IP address and the pages you open. We do not set marketing cookies, and we do not embed other companies’ trackers.
If you disable cookies
The site still works. The banner may reappear. We will not have a stored record of your choice in that browser.
